ER visit
Xavier had his first major accident last night. He slipped on some water that was on the floor after his bath and smacked his head on the threshold. After 3 hours in the ER, he came home with 1 stitch in his forehead. As a mom, I am just so grateful that it wasn't worse. It just killed me to have to be there and watch him be in so much pain as they stitched his forehead. I always knew he would eventually end up with stitches somewhere in the future, just not at 3 yrs old. Ahh the life of being a mom of a boy. I wonder if Addison will give me the same amount of stress.

90% chance of............
We found out today that we have a 90% chance of having a girl. The picture is pretty clear that the baby has girl parts, but they wanted to play it on the safe side. I would post a picture, but the scanner is not cooperating at the moment. I am so excited and happy. Xavier is thrilled and John is happy too. Yeah I get to buy pink stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chatanooga, TN October 14, 2007
After preaching in Paint Rock, we decided to take a spontaneous trip to TN. We stayed in a fancy hotel room that cost a small fortune. (the problem you run in to when you decide to go somewhere on the spur of the moment.) We ended up having a really nice time. It was great to spend some time as a family. We went downtown and walked along the riverfront and then Sunday we went up to Lookout Mountain and Rock City.
Paint Rock, Alabama October 13, 2007
John was asked to come preach at another SDB church in Paint Rock, AL this past weekend. We went to AL on Friday night and spent the night at a hotel in Scotsboro. Xavier just looked so cute wheeling his own suitcase into the hotel. Plus he thinks it is cool to have a little refrigerator in our room. At church on Sabbath, he had a lot of fun playing with Tuck. They all had a great time playing in the field beside the church.
Video Games
I am not a big fan of video games and really do not like for young children to be playing them. However, pretending to play is ok, I guess. When David was still here he let Xavier pretend to play a car racing game with him. Xavier really enjoyed it and thought he was actually winning. I just think he look cute in his chair.
