On a very hot day in July, I took the kids to the Fernbank Museum in Atlanta. It was better than hanging out in the house with a broken AC. (It has been fixed, right before we decided to move to a bigger place.) We only got to see 2 exhibits that day, but we are members, so we get to go back later. Right now they are hosting an exhibit on the ends of the earth, featuring penguins and polar bears, Xavier's other fav animals.

Swimming in Tennille, GA

Here are pictures of my kids swimming while we were in Tennille. I also have some video of Xavier swimming, to be posted at a later date.

We took a mini-vacation to Tennille, GA over the fourth of July weekend. My mom's friend, Annie, lives there with her great-granddaughter, Natalie, whom she is raising. Annie lives on 16 acres and has what some might call a farm. There are blueberry trees, grapes, a big garden, apple trees, 3 cows, chickens, and dogs. Xavier had an awesome time and just loved "working" on the farm. He got to feed a baby calf a bottle, jump on the trampoline, feed chickens and look for eggs, pick tomatoes, pick blueberries, go swimming, and ride around in a golf cart (which was his favorite). He was terribly sad when it was time to go home. They are going back down Labor Day weekend and he can't wait.

I have lots of pictures and videos of Xavier, but alas our main computer is down at the moment. I have downloaded some onto the laptop. I will post the rest after we move at the end of the month.
