More of Xavier dancing

This was taken back in November, but I forgot about it until a few weeks ago. He was showing John how to dance.

Month of February Part II

My Dad came down last weekend to visit. Xavier had a great time with his Pop-Pop. Not to mention the fact that my Dad built him a toy box, table and stools, and brought him a karaoke machine and some toy cars. Yes, he is a spoiled, there is no denying that. Addison got some things too. She got a big stuffed bear to lay on, diapers, and a stuffed lion from her Aunt Rachael. Plus she got to meet her Pop-Pop.

Pop-Pop holding Addison for the first time.

Eating chocolate chip cookies.

Making Pop-Pop race cars. (One of Xavier's favorite things to do.)

Having a tea party on the table and stools Pop-Pop built for Xavier.

Xavier and Pop-Pop playing on the couch.

This is where Xavier spent his time during the baby dedication. Yeah, he's a pastor's kid, already not listening. :)

While my Dad was in town, we decided to have Addison dedicated at the church, so he could be a part of the dedication.

Xavier's walk around the sun at school, February 8, 2008

Our computer doesn't want to read my memory card for some strange reason. So, I had to make a CD of all the pics this month. I am just grouping the pics according to the event from the month of February. (We had a pretty busy month actually.)

Ten Years Together

It has been ten years since Tabatha and I started our relationship together (Yes, this is John writing this). If you listen to Tabatha tell the story of how we got together I sound like a stalker. But I knew there was just something about her that I wanted to know more about. I finally figured out what it was. My wife is the most compassionate, kindest person I have ever met. She, in her love for me, has shown me what it means to love unconditionally. She has given me the two most beautiful children in the world and future full of hope when I thought there was nothing worth living for. When my parents died, she showed me that I still had a family. When I made mistakes, she never wavered in her affection.

On this Valentines Day, I publicly acknowledge my love and appreciation for you. May we have many more happy years together!

(This is my first post on this blog. I wonder how long it will be until she reads it.)

Tummy Time video

This is Addison and her tummy time.

Tummy Time

It's time for tummy time. Addison officially turns 1 month on Sunday, but we started tummy time on Thursday since she turned 4 weeks that day. So far she seems to tolerate me doing it to her. Check out the video above. She likes to push her feet up more than her head.

First Sabbath

This is Freda, she couldn't wait to hold me either. In fact I think she wanted to take me home too. :)

This is Jasmine. She couldn't wait to hold me.

Last Sabbath, Feb 2nd, was Addison's first day at church. I tried to get some more photos, but it was also my first day back as well, so I didn't have much opportunity to take pictures. Everyone just loved seeing Addie and they all took turns holding her. She was great too, Pretty much slept the whole day.

Look What I Can Do Night

We recently had Look What I Can Do Night at school. I actually got to go as a parent and see some of things Xavier does in his class. He showed me the parts of a leaf puzzle and then did the 100 board for me.

So, Xavier called John and I back into his room to hear a rock concert. He was trying to sing to one of his books on CD. It was quite funny. This was the best video clip I could get of him. Sorry for the lighting. I think we need more light in our house. All the video comes out dark and the lights are on. Hmmmm....... guess I need to get some lamps.

This is Addison at 2 weeks old. She is trying to get ahold of her pacifier (binky).
