Puzzle Time

Xavier was showing John how to put a puzzle together a few nights ago. It's sweet to see father and son play together.

Trimming the Tree

Addie shaking her hips

My sweet little baby girl has learned to shake her hips. It's the funniest thing and she has even gotten quite good at it. This is some video of her the other night shaking her groove thang to Alvin and the Chipmunks. Enjoy!

Mommy' Birthday, Nov. 21st

Balloons and flowers from the kids in my class.

Flowers from my friends.

Flowers from my sister Annette.

Flowers from John.

Eating birthday cake. Yummy!!

So, I had my birthday last Friday, the 21st. I had a very nice day. The parents in my class brought lots of goodies to eat, homemade cards, balloons, and flowers. My friends also made the day special with some cool gifts, flowers, and Thai food for lunch (my fav.)
John got me some roses and chocolates and a gingerbread house kit. (The kids and I wanted to make one.)My mom baked a chocolate and strawberry gluten free cake. We were going to go out for dinner and a movie, but unfortunately things turned sour that evening. My wisdom tooth started hurting so bad that I was on the verge of tears. My mom took me to a dentist and they gave me some pain meds and scheduled me to have it pulled on the 25th. Apparently it was severely impacted. The pain meds kicked in and I was feeling pretty good. John and I decided to go see a late showing of the new Bond movie, all I needed to do was get Addie in bed. Well......as I was getting her ready she puked all over me. Needless to say we didn't see the movie. The rest of the night was dealt dealing with a sick baby. But that is life and part of the sacrifice we make when we become parents. I did have a nice day and so grateful for the wonderful friends and family who helped make my birthday special.

Licking the Bowl

She discovered that the batter made a cool paint for the tub wall.

She actually put the bowl on her head. It was hilarious. I could not stop laughing especially when she tried to get it off.

Grandma made a chocolate cake last night. Xavier and Alexis got to lick the beaters, Addie got to lick the bowl. It was awesome. We put her in the tub and just let her have at it. At first she wasn't really sure what to do, but she evertually got the hang of it. This is the second video. There are also tons of pictures because she was so darn cute.

Night of Destruction

A few nights ago, Addison decided that after her bath she was going to destroy and get into as much as she possibly could. Yes, she usually gets into things because that is what babies do, however, it is usually confined to one area or room of the house. This night it was no holds bar for her. She even headed upstairs in the dark.

Now let's have a looksie into grandma's bathroom cabinets. Nothing is sacred around here.

What's this, a dog crate? Let's have a look inside, close the door, and then back out.

Let's see what we can find upstairs. (she was doing this in the dark.)

No place is safe, not even the kitchen.

Hmm....what do I see over there???

Wreaking havoc in Daddy's office. (She is always rearranging his stuff.)
